Chester Luncheon

You are invited to the Old Ruthinian Association Chester Lunch on Friday 31 August at The Architect, 54 Nicholas Street, CHESTER, CHI 2NX.


A three course lunch will be served from 1.30 - places are limited to 40.
Wives, husbands and partners are welcome.

The Architect is a wonderful Georgian town house named in honour of the well known architect Thomas Harrison who lived and worked there. He designed many well known Chester buildings including much of Chester Castle and the iconic Grosvenor Bridge. It is situated within the city walls and overlooks the famous Roodee race course.

Car parking at The Architect is very limited but there are plenty of car parks close by. Chester rail station is a short taxi ride or a 15 minute stroll through the beautiful and historic city of Chester.

Covers are £32.50 per person.

This year's dinner will be held, as usual, at Ruthin Castle, 7.00 for 7.30pm

Wreath laying at the Ruthin War Memorial

November 11th Sunday

This event will take place at the War Memorial in Wynnstay Road on at 10.30 am.
The wreath, in memory of all the Old Ruthinians who gave the ultimate sacrifice, will be laid by our President Stephen Sington. Coffee will be served at Ruthin Castle Hotel after this event.
